You Always Have a Friend
Sometimes life can be very lonely. It can be difficult to meet friends. When this happens, the worst thing you can do is to go somewhere and hide and be by yourself. A reaction like this will not solve you problem, but only make it worse. What you need to do is to get involved in some activities that will enable you to meet new people. At school, you can join some clubs or athletic teams. If you are out of school, you can join a recreational league with various sports or join a volunteer program. All these activities will enable you to make new friends, keep yourself busy and win over loneliness.
As a Christian, you will always have brothers and sisters in Christ who want to help you overcome any loneliness you might have. Enjoy each other's company at worship assemblies, home Bible studies, potlucks, and various church activities. Besides all these which will help cure your loneliness, the wold's greatest friend will always be with you. In Hebrews 13:5, the Lord tells us that He will never leave us nor forsake us. In times of loneliness, you can talk to Him in prayer.
Why not start today in meeting new friends and getting better acquainted with your brothers and sisters in the Lord? Never forget your greatest friend Jesus Christ is as close as you want Him to be.
