Worshiping God
God has always required his followers to worship Him. Whether it was Adam and Eve, Moses or the apostles, God wanted their worship. Their worship may have involved animal sacrifices, keeping certain feasts, whatever it was, God required two specific things for their worship to be pleasing to Him.
- Read John 4:23-24 and Matthew 15:7-9.
To worship in spirit is to worship with one’s heart and one’s mind and one’s emotions. Our attitude in worship is the result of one’s heart being touched by the story of Jesus.

To worship in truth means to worship in accordance to what God has commanded.

What makes our worship in vain?
Today God has instructed us as we assemble to worship and do the following activities:
- Read Acts 20:7{2 activities mentioned} and I Cor. 16:1-2 and Eph. 5:19 and I Cor. 14:15.
May we always strive to worship in spirit and in truth.
