Revelation to Genesis
I previously read a medical article about how seniors can exercise their brain. It suggested that they try some new activities or change some old practices. They suggested if you hold your toothbrush in your right hand to brush your teeth, try holding it in your left. They also said if you push the vacuum with your right hand, now push it with your left. I thought to myself how could one adapt this to their spiritual brain or mind? That is how I came up with today’s Bible lesson that I have retitled “Bible Challenge.”
I challenge you today to write the books of the Bible in reverse order starting with Revelation through to Genesis. I did it and found the New Testament books not too difficult but the Old Testament books surely were. When you have done that, then write them in the order found in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. If you can do this, especially as a senior, you may find yourself feeling a little younger and a little smarter because you have exercised your mind in a new way.
