Do you have beautiful feet?
Do you have beautiful feet? You may ask yourself “What kind of question is that?” It’s a Biblical
question with a Biblical answer. The Bible tells us how one can truly have beautiful feet. The
answer is by teaching others about God’s word. Romans 10:15 tells us “And how shall they
preach except they be sent as it is written how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the
gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things.”
The gospel is the same today as it was in the first century. People were being converted in the
first century and the church grew. Why is it today that it does not seem like many are being
converted to Jesus. Could it be that too many Christians just do not have beautiful feet.
To have beautiful feet today one must love the Lord with all their heart, mind and soul. If they
do, the result will be that they will take the gospel to all they know. They will take the gospel
message to their family, to those at work, to those in their neighborhood, even to those in the
local church. They’ll take the gospel message by literally teaching God’s word and also by
letting their light shine in a dark world. In taking the gospel to the world, one must continue to
pray to God for wisdom and strength.
One cannot run very far without having healthy feet and one cannot run God’s spiritual race
without beautiful feet. Now, back to the original question, “Do you have beautiful feet?” What’s
your answer?
