Keep Teaching the Bible

Why is it that people do not understand when we Christians try to explain Bible teaching to them? Is it because they just do not have the Bible knowledge we want them to have or is it because they do not have the mental ability to comprehend or is it because they are not interested in knowing what God wants them to do?

If some people found out what God requires of them that would ruin a lot of their plans. They might have to give up a few of their clubs or practices, spend their money for the Lord’s cause, and address many of their other personal problems. What should we do when we are faced with these people? We first need to be patient and loving. Try to teach them and always remember the Lord is with us. Hebrews 13:5 says, “Let your conversation be without covetousness, be content with such things as ye have, for He hath said I’ll never leave thee nor forsake thee.”

Yes, it is sad when people will not listen to God, but do not let them discourage you. There are people out there who serve the Lord every breath of their life and there are others in the world searching for the truth. It is our job as servants of the Lord to live and teach Jesus to the best of our ability whether anyone listens or not. We can do little about it, but we must keep trying.
