Ways to be Kind in 2022
Galatians 6:10 “Do good unto all men especially unto those of the household of faith.”
- Visit an elderly person in your local nursing home.
- Donate a toy to “Toys for Tots”.
- Give blood.
- Bake cookies and take to a neighbor, friend or fellow Christian who is shut-in.
- Write a note of appreciation to someone who has helped and encouraged you.
- Call an old friend you haven’t talked to in a long time.
- Make a donation to a charity or college in someone’s honor or memory.
- Gather up clothes or household items you are not using and give to an organization that helps the disadvantaged.
- Volunteer your time at a homeless shelter.
- Put together a goodie bag to give to someone who is standing at a street corner asking for help.
- Make today “no criticism day” in your household, only praise and kind words.
- Smile and say hello to everyone you meet today.
- Give the server a bigger than usual tip when you eat out tonight.
- Share a compliment with a friend, co-worker or family member.
- Post something positive, encouraging, and uplifting today on social media.
- Add a “Be kind” frame to your facebook profile.
- Be patient and nice when the fast food restaurant isn’t very fast.
- Reach out to a family member you haven’t spoken to in a while.
- Let someone merge into the traffic ahead of you with a wave and a smile.
- Buy a friend, or even a stranger’s lunch or cup of coffee today.
- Share this post via text, e-mail or social media with three other people who would appreciate and profit from it.
